Privacy at RPGN
Only what the account needs.
Information we collect
An RPGN account stores an email address, a one-way password hash, a security question, and a one-way hash of its private answer. We do not ask for your legal name, home address, or other profile information during registration.
How email is used
Your email address is used only for account recovery and official RPGN messages. Email verification and automated recovery email are not active yet.
Bot protection and external sign-in
Registration uses Cloudflare Turnstile to limit automated account creation. If you choose Google sign-in, Google confirms your identity and email address; RPGN never receives your Google password.
Game connections
The legacy-compatible direct Telnet connection is unencrypted. A network observer may be able to see credentials and game traffic sent through that connection, so never reuse your RPGN password elsewhere.
