Connect directly with any MUD client. Website character tools are available when you sign in.

Play with Legend

Version 0.1.30 — test preview for 64-bit Windows 10 and 11.

Connect to Maravilla

Install and open Legend. On the Maravilla Oculta card, choose + Add connection. The name, address and port are filled in for you. Choose Save profile, then Open & connect.

The Maravilla connection includes a beach-inspired appearance. If the artwork is hidden, open Appearance and turn on Use atmospheric texture. Your game-text colors stay unchanged.

At the connection screen, enter REGISTER to create an RPGN account or LOGIN to use an existing one, then select your character. A website login is optional.

Direct Telnet is unencrypted. Do not reuse your RPGN password on other services.

Verify your download

Compare your file’s SHA-256 with our installer checksums. In PowerShell, run Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 -LiteralPath "C:\path\to\installer.exe", replacing the path with your downloaded file. A matching checksum confirms the file matches our published copy; it does not certify its safety.

Play with Wizard

For Windows 10 or later. Includes Wizard and its launcher, with an option to associate .SAL connection files. GoPlay is not required.

Download Wizard installer

Setup opens the included script timer patch after installing Wizard. Close any running Wizard windows, click Patch in the patch window, then close it to finish setup. To run it later, right-click the Start menu’s Wizard script timer patch shortcut and choose Run as administrator. Unattended installs skip this interactive step.

Download your connection file

After installing Wizard, choose a mode and download the connection file. If Windows asks which app to use, choose Launcher.exe in the Wizard installation folder.
